Volkswagen Vento has received an updated 1.5 litre diesel unit tuned to produce higher power output. This is the same engine that powers Ameo diesel and Skoda Rapid facelift. The petrol variant comes with a 1.6 Litre naturally aspirated, multi point fuel injection, this engine is capable of producing about 105 Ps of peak power at 5250 rpm and 153 Nm of torque at 3800 rpm while the other petrol engine is a 1.2 Litre Turbocharged, direct injection petrol engine which is capable of producing about 105 Ps at 500 rpm and 175 Nm of peak torque in between 1500-4100 rpm.
